Thoughtful article on the subject of design for reading on the web, as opposed to skimming. For example, let the body of the text stand alone further down the page: don't have other content alongside the main body of the text, but rather put it at the top, and the bottom. Pull quotes are okay at the beginning of an article, but will become distracting further in.
